Starting your first practice
How to pick material on the Study page and set the number of question packages, feedback mode, and timer before hitting Start Practice.

Pick your material
All material lives on the Study page. Choose a course at the top, then use Select subcourse to open the subcourse you want. Practices appear as cards, ordered along the learning path.
Each practice card shows how many question packages it holds, plus a mastery badge if you have attempted it before.
Set up the session
Click a practice card to open its detail. Three things are yours to set:
- How many question packages to work through in this session.
- Show instant feedback, whether you want to see right or wrong after each answer.
- Timer, which you can switch on or off and whose duration you can change. The default is 8 minutes per question package.
Press Start Practice to begin.
Timer and feedback preferences are saved in your browser, so the next session starts with the same setup without you configuring it again.
Pretests and posttests are different
For pretests and posttests the button reads Start Test and nothing is configurable: the question set is full and fixed, marking is held until you submit, and the timer always runs. That keeps assessment results fair to compare.
While the session runs
Your answers save automatically as you go. If you close the page mid-session, an active session banner greets you when you return, and you can either continue from where you stopped or drop the session with Abandon session.
