Listening audio not playing
Steps to fix Listening audio that produces no sound, and what to know about recordings that can only be played once.

Check the replay rule first
The audio panel tells you the rule for the recording you are working on. You can play this once means the recording plays a single time, like the real exam. You can replay freely means you can repeat it as often as you like.
For single-play recordings, make sure your headphones are connected and your volume is right before pressing play. That chance cannot be given back within the same session.
Check the basics
- Make sure your device is not on silent and the volume is not at zero.
- Try removing your headphones, or swap in a different pair.
- Check whether the browser tab is muted. Right-click the tab to confirm.
- Reload the page. Answers you have already entered are saved automatically.
If there is still no sound
Some browsers block audio that starts on its own. Click once anywhere on the page first, then press play, so the browser allows it.
If the recording is still silent after all of that, the file itself may be broken. Report it through Report a problem inside the player and choose the Broken image / audio category, so we can find the exact question and fix it.
